The rates that I had were printed at the start of 2009 for KK. If I'm not mistaken, the prices I saw in Tawau airport was around RM 200 for a Proton/Perodua. It sounds like you got a good deal, especially for the mpv. Hopefully, the price included petrol. This is the general rate that car rentals are listing in Kota Kinabalu City.
