Le Meridien Hotel

Le Meridien Hotel is located in Kota Kinabalu city, right next to shopping malls, and offers an outstanding view of the South China Sea. Being in the city, everything is within walking distance. Shopping, city sights, habour, sunset views, and lots of food, restaurants and bars.

The shopping malls, Centrepoint Sabah and Warisan Square is just next door to the hotel. Like shopping malls anywhere, it offers an mix of international brands and local products. Very often, you can enjoy better prices shopping in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah due to the currency exchange rates. If you are a golfer, there is a fine golf course at Sutera Habour is just minutes away.

This is a beautiful hotel, with really comfortable rooms. I was there for Rick and Beatrice’s wedding, and managed to take some photos of my Superior Room. The room is beautiful and relaxing, and gives you a view of the South China Sea. The size of the room was big, and that was what I like the most. It is modern and comfortable, comes with internet access, coffee making facilities, electronic safe and other amenities.

Le Meridien, Kota Kinabalu has a gym, and a swimming pool with pool bar. The Circle Restaurant offers all day dining or you can try Rumba, latin grill and bar. Or spend a evening at the Lounge with friends, like we did.

Le Meridien Hotel is in a convenient location, next to commercial districts, shopping malls, food and entertainment spots. It is a short walk to The Waterfront, where you can enjoy dinner and a drink while watching the sunset over the South China Sea. Warisan Square Shopping Mall

Warisan Square is an interesting shopping mall, it is designed as a street mall, and has some really interesting restaurants. It is very popular with the locals, and is a nice place to chill. If you want to pick up a book, Times Bookstore is in Warisan Square.
