Nexus Karambunai Resort in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is famous for its long stretch of beach and its lagoon park. It is the only resort in Sabah with such a large expense of beachfront. You have a choice of hanging out by the beach or head inland for some jungle trekking and hill hiking. The long distance from the city makes you feel like you are in Club Med.
Believe me, even the way to the resort will heighten your anticipation. It is a scenic route to Karambunai, blue skies and rolling green hills. It is a perfect location to de-stress and start your vacation in Borneo.
Symphony Of The Sea
The beach in Nexus Resort plays a wonderful symphony upon your arrival. You will hear it before you even catch a view of the beach. The waves along this stretch of beach is stronger than in Tanjung Aru beach. You walk into the high ceilinged lobby, someone sounds the gong to welcome guests. You hear the sound of the wind, accompanied by the sound of the waves. It exerts a subtle pull on you, and it is a natural response to want to head to towards the beach.
On the way to your room, you can hear the sound of the sea, and you just cannot wait to unpack and head over there. To feel the warm sand beneath your feet, the wind in your hair, the sun on your face.
Thankfully, your beautiful and inviting room shuts out the sound of the sea, allowing you some respite from its siren call. Until you open the balcony’s sliding doors, and you just stand there taking in the sights and sound. This is …… paradise.

The Perfect Vacation Photograph
It would be a shame to come all this way and not have the opportunity to take photographs and videos of your stay. This is a world-class resort, in a beautiful place that will rank high on anybody’s vacation list. A trip to Sabah, is not complete without a visit to our beaches. This is my favorite vacation shot of my stay in Nexus Karambunai Resort, it just sums up the entire experience.
