Mermaids Off The Waters Of Mabul Island
When I first saw this picture, my initial reaction was “Mermaids In Sabah!”. You probably figured not and you would be right.
It is a bit strange that mermaids do not figure in any local folk-lore. At least, not in any that I have heard of. Plenty of folk-lore about creatures from the jungle but none from the sea. Now, why is that?
