About
Selamat Datang. Welcome to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
This blog is about Sabah, our un-spoilt beaches and islands, about Mount Kinabalu, Kinabalu National Parks, and the wildlife sanctuaries in Sabah. You will find and experience our local flavor, in terms of fruits, food and lifestyle. It is also about getting around Kota Kinabalu, and other places of interest in Sabah.
When you visit Sabah, you will experience amazingly friendly people, and diverse cultures. All interacting and living together in our Borneo paradise. If eco-holiday is your cup of tea, you will find a diverse range of wildlife and flora. Such as the Rafflesia – the largest flower in the world, Mount Kinabalu – the highest mountain in South East Asia. Also a World Heritage Site.
Sabah is a unique state in Malaysia, with the South China Sea on our West coast, the Sulu Sea on our East coast, and Celebes Sea to our South. You will find beautiful islands here, including Survivor Island. Sun, Sea, mountains, jungles and urban malls. Travel in comfort at our world class resorts or backpack around Sabah.
The gateway to Kota Kinabalu is the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA), newly renovated and modern. As you touch down in Kota Kinabalu, you will see Tanjung Aru beach. Your first taste of K.K. will be a beautiful view of our favorite beach.
A country’s unique culture and natural wonders are it’s priceless heritage. And this we would like to share with the world. When you leave Sabah, I have no doubt that while you take a piece of Sabah with you in your heart, you will also leave a bit of yourself behind.

hi adrian,
sorry to barge in here, i have be a fan of our site for the last few months or so, and every time i need to quote something about Sabah to my pals (over the world) i will refer to your site… heck, i don’t need to explain all the GEO things, just few here and there sure to satisfy their curiosity about ‘why sabah worth a visit’ (most of them don’t even know of Sabah though some recognised ‘Sipadan Island’ as one of the new 7th wonder nominee…
I have created a blogsite to promote my pearl and crystal (su-pearl&crystal.blogspot.com), and i’m hoping i could use some of the article in your site (to promote Sabah)… not the whole story, just the caption and link back to your site, if they wish to read further then they will have to go to your site… but first, i need you agreement on this… a written agreement.
And i will source back everything i took from your site to your site. (i will not take the whole story)…
kindly reply to my mail if you are ok with this ya,
Best wishes and regards,
sue
